Foreign travel

If you are travelling abroad for a holiday or business, please book a travel appointment with one of our nurses as early as you can before you depart. Please fill in the foreign travel form and return this to the Medical Centre reception and book your appointment. Some vaccines take several weeks to take effect, so the earlier you discuss this with our nurse, the better.

We are only able to provide the NHS vaccinations recommended for your travel. You will need to complete the foreign travel form or collect one already printed from reception. You will need to book the next available practice nurse appointment. If this appointment is not soon enough for your travel needs, you will need to seek travel advice from a Travel Clinic.

Travel Clinic advice is available through pharmacies, and you will be asked to pay. You may find visiting NHS Choices website helpful.
