All GP practices are required to declare the mean net earnings (eg Average Pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to Patients at each Practice.
This is required in the interests of greater public accountability, recognising GP pay is ultimately funded from tax paid by the public.
The average GP pay for GPs working at the Quantock Medical Centre in the Financial year 2017/2018 was £53,654 before tax and national insurance, during that year the practice had 2 full time GPs who worked in the practice for more than 6 months.
Previous Years Earnings before tax and National Insurance were:
2016/17 : £95,405 During this financial year the Practice has 1 full time GPs who worked in the Practice for more than 6 months, other GPs and Locums during this year did not work for more than 6 months and therefore have not been taken into account for this financial calculation.
